White Label Sites
HVL has developed a range of templated websites for each of its communities and other purposes that can be deployed and tailored for any organisation wishing to improve its on-line presence. Each template site can be quickly 'skinned' in a unique style to make it suitable for a specific client. The sites are modular in design allowing clients to deploy additional facilities such as eCommerce, blogs, forums, etc, at their own pace. Clients can easily update the content of their site on-line, using tools that take just a few minutes to learn, and publish the new content to the live site as often as they wish. Clients also have the option of contracting with HVL to manage the site and of hosting it at HVL's partner datacentre. If required, HVL can also develop bespoke functionality to make the site stand out further from its competition.
Here are some examples of HVL developed sites
A community site for a distance learning business
An interactive doodling site to accompany the launch of a book series
A 'brochure site' for a holiday home
A 'brochure site' for a consultancy

Cross Community Advertising & Sponsorship
As we roll out our community sites (which will all have a heavy ABC1 demographic), we are expanding our advertising and sponsorship opportunities to offer access to all of our communities. These opportunities will be made available to all the companies that work with us in any capacity and in any community.
Shops & eCommerce Activities
The HVL commerce engine has been designed to enable a range of eCommerce activities both for HVL's use and for our clients.
It will be used as the basis of the generic HVL shopping mall which provides products and services which are relevant to all of our communities The first few of these offerings are already available (Tickets from TicketSwitch and Insurance services from Allianz). We aim to bring special offers and value to our community members, such as special member discounts on musical instrument insurance (and, of course, access to Grove Art & Music Online, and the Naxos Music Library which, if purchased separately, would cost considerably more than the membership fee).
Our community specific shops will enable our community members to buy the most popular products and services. The community specific mall will be where our specialist branded partners provide their community specific products and services.
We have built a Book Shop service which allows any organisation to have a bookshop on their site. Our individual community members will be able to add an eCommerce capability to their membership profile to enable them to sell their own products and services or to benefit from recommending specific goods and services.
An important aspect of our eCommerce activities is our ability to provide a loyalty scheme and reward our loyal members who buy anything through our membership portal.
Purchasing Efficiency & Value
For organisations such as schools and higher learning institutions, we will offer a facility to enable them and their students to buy most of the things they require for their personal or departmental needs at highly competitive prices and with the added benefit of a loyalty bonus.
Personalised Homepage
Each of our community members will be able to personalise their homepage to include any RSS feed, such as news, share prices or sports. Members can also check their email, return saved search items such as jobs or reference and view their calendar from their homepage.
Classified Advertising
Each of communities will have its own classified section where the members can sell their unwanted possessions. The catagories that are relevant to everyone will be displayed across all of the communities. Proceeds can be directed to a charity of their choice.
